Large Format Fractal Art
What makes Jon Passow’s fractal art unique is that he is the only one in the world that can produce them to the size that he does. While all the other fractal artists are limited to about the size of a poster, Jon can produce his art to the size of a 32 story building at full print resolution (300dpi).
What is Jon’s large format fractal art all about anyways? Well, he has spent the last 18 years studying 3 dimensional math and producing these pieces. Setting various factors in equations developed by Benoit Mandelbrot, Wacław Franciszek Sierpiński, and Gaston Julia, Jon translates each sum to a color and repeates the process over and over. This truly is Mathematical Art!
